SuperMap GIS Contest Introduction

Instructions

In order to promote the teaching innovation and international exchange of geographic information science in colleges and universities, inspire university students to study and research interest in GIS field; improve their GIS development level and practical ability. Chinese Geographical Society, China Geographic Information Industry Association and SuperMap jointly organized the ‘SuperMap International GIS contest’.

Registration Way

Please complete the registration information document and send it to your contact person or our email before starting your works.

The competition does not charge registration fees and any other fees. We provide the free trial license of SuperMap GIS software.

Work Requirements

The participating teams completed the relevant works according to the competition requirements of each competition in this competition. The work must be author-originated and does not infringe the copyright of third parties.

If you have references to other works, codes, models, documents, etc. or refer to third-party data, please indicate at the end of the document. If violation of the rights of third parties, the work submitted to the team to assume the corresponding responsibility, and the Organizing Committee has the rights to cancel the awards obtained by the work and request the return of the corresponding certificate of awards, bonuses or prizes.

2018.3	Registration.
2018.3-2018.7	Participants prepare their works. SuperMap provides online technical support.
Before 2018.8.8	Participants of Application Analysis Group and Mapping Group submit their works.
Before 2018.8.15	Participants of 3D Application Group, Mobile Application Group, and Web and Online Application Group submit their works.
2018.9-2018.10	Organizing committee evaluates the submitted works.
2018.12.10	Awarding prizes.

Competition Evaluation Method

The Competition Organizing Committee will invite well-known experts and scholars from the industry to form the final judging panel. The final judging panel will be responsible for the review and evaluation of the finals in the finals of the contest in line with the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality.

Group Requirements

One group can be comprised of 1-4 persons

One group can have 1 or 2 instructors
