You are required to analyze spatial data with GIS methods to meet the actual needs of industry applications and life. The theme and topic are free. It will be an opportunity to show your ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
1. Works must be original and conform to the open source rules. The copyright always belongs to the original author while the Contest Committee has the right to make public.
2. All the participants should be responsible for the copyright. If works involve reference or quote, please indicate at the end of the reports. Otherwise, the Contest Committee will hold the right to cancel the awards and withdraw the bonuses and certificates of prizes due to infringement reasons.
All the works must be base on SuperMap iDesktop or SuperMap iDesktopX with the version of 10i or above.
1. The data used in the entries can be the map data published by nations or relevant organizations, or the big data or other source data provided by Internet enterprises。
2. Please ensure the legitimacy of the data source and the right of using and releasing data.
3. The map content shall conform to the relevant policies and laws of each country, and shall fully represent the territory of each country.
4. You are required to use file data sources and file workspaces.

1. All the files required need to be submitted as compressed files in .ZIP format.
2. Structure of submission files (Items marked with * are optional for submission):
2.1.Raw Data: Includes original datasets such as Excel spreadsheets and raw image data.
2.2.Output Data: Comprises interim results generated during the analysis process as well as the final deliverables. These may include file-based data sources, file-based workspaces, Excel tables, etc. Additionally, a "Data Description" Excel file must be provided, detailing the contents of the output data in a corresponding order.
2.3.Project Files
2.3.1.If the project is based on a self-developed system using GIS software, the source code should be included in this folder.
2.3.2.If the project is implemented directly using desktop GIS software without any secondary development, this folder can remain empty.
2.4.Project Presentation: Includes key visual materials that effectively showcase the project outcomes, such as at least three high-quality screenshots and relevant charts.
2.5.Project Documentation
2.5.1.Project Description: a DOC-format document covering background introduction, solution approach, analysis process, software and analytical methods used, and presentation of analysis results
2.5.2.System Installation and Deployment Guide*: a DOC-format document (if applicable) providing instructions on the installation, deployment, and usage of any standalone programs developed.
2.5.3.Instructor's Evaluation Report*: a DOC-format document, concise and clear, with a length of 200-500 words.
2.6.Demonstration & Explanation
2.6.1.Demonstration Video: an MP4-format video providing an overview of the project, covering background and significance of the topic, analysis methods, and key implementation steps
2.6.2.Presentation Slides: the PPT file used in the demonstration video.
2.7.Bonus Criteria*
2.7.1.Geographic Modeling Documentation*: a DOC-format document providing a detailed explanation of the conceptual model and methodology used.
